I ended up deleting it when I realized it messed up my Hub Reason 4 I wasnt noticing in the battery manager that it was actually disabling my WiFi when I left home (avg WiFi assistant did a better job at this) Reason 2 after it initialized it changed all my syncs for me email accounts to off and I didn't realize for quite some time that my emails weren't coming through Which was very few apps for me that I didn't really use except Hub Reason 1 was that it can only control background syncs for apps that use the android sync method. It's a good concept but wasn't friendly with Priv. Posted via the CrackBerry App for AndroidI tried this a few months ago. Not sure if it's also as effective on the Priv. Have you guys tried Snapdragon's Battery Guru? I used to use this on my S and Note devices. Posted via the CrackBerry App for Android Hopefully re-enabling and updating will help, maybe tmo bundles something in the updated version of the app that addresses something specific to their build of the Priv. Disabling the T-Mobile app did wonders for a bit, but not for long.

That's exactly what I'm going to try because my battery life has been terrible and my phone runs HOT.
SNAPDRAGON BATTERY GURU NOT SHOWING APPS UPDATE
So maybe in this case it's better to re-enable the app and update so that the factory version that had the issues isn't lurking somehow in the background. T-Mobile did release an update for the app that fixed heating / Battery issues according to them. First thing that comes to mind is the My T-Mobile app that everyone disabled because of heat issues. I had been wondering exactly what "disabling" an app does after seeing the prompt saying that by disabling the app would revert to its factory version. So disabling always means reverting to stock app and silence it: If you 'disable' preinstalled apps it always deinstalls the updates that were made to this app via playstore.
